He married Anna Elizabeth "Betsy" PHILLIPPI about 1781. (Anna Elizabeth "Betsy" PHILLIPPI is #1322.) Anna was born in Pennsylvania 15 NOV 1764. Anna was the daughter of Johann ("John") Adam PHILLIPPI and Maria "Barbara" Eva EICHELBERG. Anna died 1850 in Smyth Co., VA, at 85 years of age.

He made a will in Wythe Co., VA, 17 MAR 1828. Christian's will was probated in Wythe Co., VA, 09 AUG 1830.
