He married Jane V. RUTHERFORD in Grayson Co, VA, 04 MAR 1856.⁽²⁷⁾ (Jane V. RUTHERFORD is #2420.) Jane was born in Grayson Co, VA 1835. Jane⁽²⁸⁾ was the daughter of John RUTHERFORD and Margaret "Peggy" HASH.

42 iv. Madison Nile STAMPER⁽³⁴⁾ (#2425) was born 18 MAY 1862.⁽³⁵⁾ Madison died 23 MAY 1927 at 65 years of age.⁽³⁶⁾

43 v. Abraham Lincoln STAMPER⁽³⁷⁾ (#2426) was born in North Carolina 27 MAR 1866.⁽³⁸⁾ Abraham died 23 JAN 1959 in Whitetop, Grayson, Virginia, at 92 years of age.⁽³⁹⁾
