He married Emma Jane MCMILLAN in Ashe Co., North Carolina, 19 JAN 1904. (Emma Jane MCMILLAN is #1641.) Emma was born in Ashe Co., North Carolina JAN 1887. Emma was the daughter of Iredell MCMILLAN and Mary Ann DICKSON. Emma died 09 MAY 1965 in Stewartstown, Pennsylvania, at 78 years of age.⁽³²³⁾
