He married three times. He married Rebecca HASH in Ashe Co., NC, about 1838. (Rebecca HASH is #705.) Rebecca was born in Grassy Creek, North Carolina 10 FEB 1820. Rebecca was the daughter of Robert HASH and Margery HART. Rebecca died 15 JUL 1864 in Ashe Co., NC, at 44 years of age. He married Sirena Laren "Rena" HASH in Ashe Co., NC, about 1865. (Sirena Laren "Rena" HASH is #81.) Sirena was born in Grayson Co, VA about 1823. Sirena was the daughter of Thomas HASH and Cornelia "Nellie" PHIPPS. He married Sally SMITH in Alleghany Co., NC, 20 JAN 1889. (Sally SMITH is #1781.) Sally was born 1823.

John STAMPER and Rebecca HASH had the following children:
