Wiley C. Vaught

Wiley C. Vaught, 77, of Street, died Sunday, May 3 at his home. He managed Havre de Grace Motors, a used car business, for nearly ten years. Earlier, he managed a Crown Station in Bel Air. Born in Marion, Va., he worked as a security guard at the Peach Bottom Nuclear Power Plant.

He is survived by his wife, the former Fern Horn; three sons, Wiley C. Vaught, Jr. of Orlando, Fla., Curtis and James Vaught, both of Street; three daughters, Diane Burkheimer of Aberdeen, Shirley Hooper, and Christina Vaught, both of Street; two brothers, the Rev. Earl Vaught of Churchville and Carl Vaught of Florida; three sisters, Suzie James and Georgie Woods, both of Virginia, and Mary Trimm of Tennessee; eight grandchildren, and a great-grandson.

Funeral services were held at the Foster Funeral Home in Bel Air on Wednesday, April 29 at 2pm. Interment was in the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Bel Air with Rev. Randall K. Pratt officiating.

Pallbearers were Arnold Hitchcock, Raymond Evans, Bob Saddler, Hilton Dunn, Ray Hall and David Ingram.
