Faye F. Vaught

Faye F. Vaught, 80, of Aberdeen died Nov. 28 at Medpointe Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Elkton.

Born in Ashe County, NC, to the late Everett and Callie Pennington Fender, she was a retired inspector for Bata Shoe Company.

The wife of the late Ralph J. Vaught who died in 1975, she is survived by a daughter, Betty Jo Thomas of Aberdeen, and a sister, Flo Parlier of Athens, Ala.

Services will be held today (Friday) at 11am at Tarring-Cargo Funeral Home. Thomas Fender will officiate. Interment was in Baker Cemetery.
