MONTY HALE VAUGHT, age 57, of Abingdon, MD, died on August 25, 2006 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center. Born in Galax, VA, he was the son of Irene Barnes Vaught of Abingdon, MD and the late Thomas Earl Vaught. He retired from the Harford County Board of Education where he spent most of his 33 years as a custodian at South Hampton Middle School. He was a very generous man who loved caring for his mother. Mr. Vaught enjoyed talking, especially about God. The Lord was his life. He enjoyed going to church and gospel singing.
In addition to his mother, Mr. Vaught is survived by one brother, Mark A. Vaught of York, PA; a sister, June D. Lambert of Henderson, NV; and two nephews, Tom Lambert and Rob Lambert, both of Henderson, NV.
