 Clarence G. Vaught

 Clarence G. Vaught, 83, of Stewartstown RD 1, a retired farmer and carpenter, died at 12:10am Tuesday, September 6 at his home. He was the husband of Clara Bell Price Vaught.

Mr. Vaught was born in Boone County, NC, the son of the late Jacob Sherman Vaught and Emma Jane McMillan Vaught.

He was a social member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Stewartstown Post 7046.

Mr. Vaught also is survived by four children, Shirley Thorton, York, Ruth Moser, Fawn Grove, Mark S. Vaught, New Park, and C. Kem Vaught, York; 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a sister, Lilace Martin, Pylesville, Md.; and two brothers, Jay S. Vaught and Archie R. Vaught, both of Stewartstown.

The service will be 2pm Friday, September 9 at the Hartenstein-Orsburn Funeral Home, 19 S. Main St., Stewartstown. Burial will be in Stewartstown Cemetery. Viewing will be 7 to 9pm Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to VNA of York County, 218 E. Market St., York, PA 17403.

Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Glenn L. Ridall Jr., pastor of Stewartstown Baptist Church.
